Apple Pie Matcha Mugcake

This recipe will make all lazy and not so morning people (including me) very happy. Are you asking why? Because it takes about 5 minutes and tastes just like apple pie. Another benefit – it’s super healthy! We are talking about Apple Pie Matcha Mugcake!

Matcha is one of the best superfoods you can get. It is powdered green tea which is super rich in antioxidants and because of its powdered structure our bodies are able to absorb a lot more. Matcha is well known for boosting our system, having anti-aging benefits and helping against heart diseases and cancer. Matcha has a nice taste of green tea and you can incorporate it into many meals and that’s why I am bringing you this easy recipe, so you can start with increasing your health with Green Tea Matcha Powder.

Making breakfast in early mornings can be sometimes painful, however, this Apple Pie Matcha Mugcake will take you about 5-10 minutes and you will do something for your health as well.

Matcha Green Tea Powder will give you health benefits and beautiful green color in this recipe, you will taste it just slightly, but it will add the perfect touch. If you are apple pie lover, you need to try this. And yeah your kitchen will smell like cinnamon heaven. Feel free to top your mugcake with fresh or dried fruits, nuts, syrups or peanut butter. Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp Matcha Green Tea
  • 3 tbsp oat flours (blended oats)
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ½ apple (shredded)
  • 2 tbsp plant-based milk
  • coconut sugar (add as much as you love sweet)

Instructions:

Mix all ingredients together, making sure it is not too runny (if so add more oat flour). Pour the mixture into your favourite mug and bake in microwave for 2-3 minutes (800W).
